Driving back from Atlanta

So I'm sitting here this morning and I felt the need to reflect very briefly on Mlk day. I thought it was short for milk when I was a kid(strange logic). I later learned it was for Dr Martin Luther King Jr and was reissued my black card. Oh So yes reflection... For all you Jrs out there, i suppose this is proof that having Jr at the end of your name doesn't limit you to your father's shadow, unless of course you're Martin Luther King Jr Jr... And your dad has a major holiday named after him. That's pretty much a losing battle. Anyway, i know very little about Mlk Sr but i know he doesnt have a holiday and thats obviously the measure of success. Anyway the conclusion is clear, so let this be a warning. If you want your son to outgrow your shadow, don't name him Jr Jr or the 3rd. Ok so this wasn't quite as reflective as I thought. More like random mental wanderings... Happy Mlk Day! Oh and to those that are celebrating Robert E Lee's birthday instead... Tsk tsk
